10 on 10: September

September’s 10 on 10 was captured on Kodak Portra 400 35mm film sooc.

The morning began with domestic obligation.

We recently purchased a globe and it’s prompted all sorts of conversation.  Additionally, it looks lovely in the morning sunlight on the kid’s table.

File this under: Things I’m Going to Miss When the Kids Get Older (Hot Wheels cars EVERYWHERE)…also, ignore how dirty those windows are.  I’ve shamed my mother terribly.  What can I say?  We’ve been doing more important things…

Family puzzles….also known as How We Spend Our Sunday Mornings

What Remains: Glitter Love

As seen on the street whilst running errands…

Smiley Face

Garden Center Bliss…I came home with three new plants and am absolutely delighted!!

Foodie: A farm stand will stop me in my tracks every. single. time.

I came home to this:  My son using the mower for the first time and proclaiming, “THIS IS AWESOME!!!!”  (yes our lawn was really THAT long…don’t judge)

And there you have it…a day in the life!  Up next…the one and only….Tiffani!

    • Thanks Jessica! For C’s 5th birthday I bought a big cardboard 5 and let her choose a spray paint color from our private selection : ) How did I come to own so many cans of spray paint?! Then we covered it in glitter. That was weeks ago and the remains are still in our garage…she and I keep running our fingers through it. It’s so fun..

  3. I think it’s safe to say I’ve never cleaned a window. Is that weird? Isn’t that what rain is for? love the globe shot. awesome day Laura!

    • Not weird at all! I grew up in a house where we cleaned windows every spring. The fact that I don’t do it very often (read every other year..maybe) always leaves my mom with that look of “I thought I raised you better!” on her face…lol. Thanks for the sweet words!

    • Thanks Carmen! And YES Michael definitely sealed his fate!! I overheard him this evening telling Kevin he thought the backyard needed mowing again…”you want me to do that for your dad?” Can’t wait to see you soon! We had chicken tacos on the porch last night and made me think of you and your lovelies!

  8. Jill

That smiley face just does it for me . . . love the way that it’s just a tiny bit off to the side. And poor Michael has no clue, does he?

    • Thanks Jill! I think the smiley face is my fave because it was just so random!! And no…Michael has absolutely no clue! He’s beyond excited!!

  12. I want to bottle up some of your zen and take a sip. Is that glitter some of your spilled over zen?
Your street shots always make me smile. The folded towels are so wonderful…mostly because I don’t ever see that sort of thing at my house.
How old does Zoey have to be until I talk her into mowing the lawn?
